If I could, I would give this course 10 stars! Rarely, if ever, do I write reviews. However, the presentation on Feedback Jiu-Jitsu: The Art of Receiving Feedback makes me break my own rule. As a HR practitioner (20+ years), I have attended many conferences, seminars and webinars. By far, Feedback Jiu-Jitsu: The Art of Receiving Feedback is one of the BEST seminars that I have ever taken. Very informative, excellent takeaways, and great examples. I highly recommend. We have asked LearningBridge to present this session to our entire staff. This is a “must-have” training for anyone or organization wanting to improve the ability to receive feedback, gain insight into delivering feedback, or understand feedback triggers and how to avoid them.

For organizations, it will help managers and staff understand the importance of being open and willing to receive feedback; and take appropriate action, if necessary. When giving feedback, one of the hardest things is for an individual not to internalize or take it personally. Feedback Jiu-Jitsu: The Art of Receiving Feedback teaches it’s not about the individual rather a specific incident or behavior, and how to manage feedback – positive or negative – once received.

For individuals, this training teaches how to use feedback to build advocacy for your career. You will learn and be provided examples of how to avoid being blindsided by feedback, the importance of active listening in receiving feedback, and how to make feedback work for you while demonstrating and creating a growth mindset.

This is one of the most cogent and compelling presentations and recommend it highly for everyone. Clear and interesting delivery, excellent takeaways and practical tips to help every individual both from a professional perspective as well as a personal one…. I will be sharing immediately with our management team and beyond as part of our leadership development and best practices.
